The Florida Chapter of The Explorers Club presents the first annual EXPLORE FLORIDA Film Festival featuring films that illustrate conservation and exploration of Florida's natural beauty.  Filmmakers will be present to discuss their passion for showcasing Florida's exquisite beauty, its diverse flora and fauna and share preservation efforts for all its inhabitants.  As stewards of our state we hope to educate and inspire efforts to preserve our diverse natural surroundings.

The Florida Chapter of the Explorers Club is one of 33 Chapters located around the globe that serves as a local contact point for scientists, explorers, educators and students.

Founded in 1904, The Explorers Club, headquartered in New York City, is a multidisciplinary professional society dedicated to the advancement of field research, scientific exploration and the ideal that it is vital to preserve the instinct to explore.

For more than a century, members of the club have traversed the earth, the seas, the skies and the moon on expeditions of exploration.

First to the North Pole, First to the South Pole, First to the Summit of Mt. Everest, First to the Deepest Point of the Ocean, First to the Surface of the Moon – all accomplished by our members
